I made an original post with my now ancient (12 year old) Satellite P105-S9722 back in 2009 & 2011 for Windows 7 64-bit drivers.I also have a post out for Windows 10 drivers. I can't guarantee that allof these will make your system work 100%, but hopefully this will make your upgrade just a little quicker & easier.Before using these driver, I recommend you do a fresh install of Windows 8 / 8.1 32 or 64-bit regardless if you are using XP, Vista, 7 32 or 64-bit systems.Now I did upgrade my system during the free upgrade period from Windows 8.1. Many of these listed are from other users, but there may be some additional drivers many may not know about. Wanted to share some observations and any issues I came across.I have listed here some basic drivers you can use for your P100/P105 systems for Windows 8/8.1 and 32/64-bit to work. Windows 8 64-bit only.
Good install notes but they aer very rudimentary it seems. What to do if it cannot find your C compiler and what to do if it failes due to not finding javaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHOME which although not mentioned happens a lot to anyone who installs on windows.I have resolved most of thise BUT cannot seem to get the install resolved for when it looks for java home and fails to install even though its setup correctly.Those typpes of issues are very common for anyone installing 12c. In Microsoft Edge on Windows 10, when I tap on drop down menus, they won't remain for long. For example, in eBay when, I tap on my eBay drop down, it is shown only for few seconds and goes away very quickly.

ok I found the problem , its because the websites I tested are not fully compatible with windows tablet mode in windows 10 using Microsoft edge , so , eventually they are going to update themselves and this problem wont occur again , I tried with some other websites like Microsoft itself and intel and dropdowns was just fine ,
I had the problem on a Windows 10 PC.Executing sfc /scannow as dectibed in System file check (SFC) Scan and Repair System Files fixed it.Cf Microsoft Edge - dropdown menues cannot allow you to select Windows 7 genuine activation code.
